Reports of the 11th MaktabeTehran Theater Festival;The fifth report: holding the third session of the practical classes of directing (classes for presenting the practice of student theater groups)
On Saturday, August 1st, the third session of the practical presentation of student theater groups was held with the presence of Jalal Tehrani. In this series of meetings, each time different groups present the results of their exercises in the presence of all festival directors and receive training tips from Mr. Jalal Tehrani.This phase will continue until the end of the summer and the completion of the performances. The closing ceremony of the festival will be held in October 2022 and each of the groups will perform twice in the hall of MaktabeTehran.
The practical workshops of directing the school festival started in March 2022. The students of this course have already passed the "Directing Theory" workshops. In the initial sessions, the students were studying Robert Bresson's films and choosing plays for theater direction, according to the central points of his films.
The 11th Tehran School Theater Festival will be held with the focus on the structure of the works of Robert Bresson, the French cinematographer. The actors were selected from among the students of the acting workshops of the school. The training started in the spring 2022.
